Vertical battens in solid wood run the full height of the front, fixed with antique brass studs set by hand. Reinforced brass corner caps take the load at all eight corners, leather pull straps sit on both doors in brass brackets, and a pierced brass jali plate closes the meeting stile. Both doors lock.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe working surface is a leather-topped tray that slides out on full-extension runners, so the bar gives you real depth to mix on and then disappears back to twenty inches. Behind it, a full mirror panel with mains-wired lighting above, and a slotted rail for stemware hung inverted. Two leather-fronted drawers with brass knobs sit below. Beneath them the cabinet splits: a cellar grid on the left holding bottles laid flat, open shelving on the right for decanters and ice. Both doors are shelved and strapped as bottle storage in their own right.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe whole piece runs on concealed castors. The plain finish shows the hide's own grain instead, and will record handling more openly. Either way tone shifts slightly panel to panel and deepens with use.
