Description
A television bench that does not apologise for being one. The carcass is bound in leather on every visible face — top, front, flanks and drawer fronts — and the only things interrupting it are domed studs, brass corner caps and vintage kilim.
A single open bay runs the full width above the drawers, deep enough for a set-top box or a console and open at the back so cables run straight through rather than being fed around. Below it, two drawers sit side by side on soft-close runners that draw themselves shut the last inch, each faced with a kilim panel framed in leather and pulled by a stitched leather strap on brass mounts.
Both flanks carry a full-height kilim panel, so the piece is finished on the sides as well as the front and can sit out from a wall or turn a corner without showing a blank face. The back is plain leather.
The carcass is engineered board rather than solid timber, and deliberately so — carrying a television and boxed electronics across this width, a laminated panel stays flat where solid boards move with the seasons. It sits on a solid wood base with tapered legs, stained to sit with your leather. The open bay and both drawers are lined in velvet-nap suede.
Every kilim panel is cut by hand from a vintage rug, so the pattern, colours and weave on your piece will not match the photographs. The panels will not match each other either — the two drawer fronts and the two flanks are cut from different parts of the rug. Each unit is one of one.

Your piece is built after you order it rather than taken off a shelf, so we’d rather you check these measurements against your room first — made-to-order pieces can’t be returned or exchanged. Being handmade, finished dimensions may vary by a centimetre or two.

Materials
Built from carefully selected, natural materials — kiln-dried hardwoods, hand-spun textiles, cast metal and quarried stone, chosen to last for decades. Naturally occurring grain and tone variation is intrinsic to each handmade piece.
Fabric care
Vacuum gently and regularly with an upholstery attachment to lift dust before it settles. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — press, don’t rub — and avoid soaking the fabric. Plump and rotate loose cushions so they wear evenly. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to preserve colour, and have delicate weaves cleaned professionally rather than machine-washed.
Craftsmanship
Carved, joined and finished by hand in our workshops, passing through the hands of several craftspeople. Joinery is mortise-and-tenon — never glued shortcuts — so the piece is made to be kept and passed down.
Assembly & Installation
Most pieces arrive securely packed and ready to use. Some larger items may require simple assembly; installation assistance may be available depending on the product and your location — speak with a consultant to confirm before ordering.
Care
Dust timber with a soft dry cloth and treat with wax balm twice yearly. Vacuum upholstery gently and treat marks promptly. Keep out of prolonged direct sun to preserve the finish.
Delivery & Shipping
Made-to-order pieces are crafted in 6–8 weeks and then dispatched by safe, insured delivery, securely packed for transit. Assembly assistance is available on selected pieces. International freight is quoted at checkout.
