Description
Two drawers over two cupboards, clad in hand-cut leather, with vintage kilim set into the door fronts and carried the full height of both flanks.
The carcass is wrapped in leather — over the top, around every corner and down to the base — with a studded leather band running the full width beneath the drawers. Solid brass caps take all eight corners, the way they would on a case built to be shipped.
Each door carries a panel of kilim alongside a panel of plain hide, so the pattern sits to the outside and the handle falls where the hand expects it. The drawers run on soft-close runners that draw themselves shut the last inch. Drawers and doors all open by stitched leather straps riveted through shaped brass mounts, sized to be pulled with a whole hand rather than two fingers. Behind each door is a shelved compartment lined in velvet-nap suede — deep enough for platters and table linen, bar bottles or files, depending on the room you put it in, and soft enough that glassware and silver go straight in without wrapping.
The flanks are where this piece differs from the rest of the range: kilim in three stacked bands, divided by studded leather straps, so it reads from the side as strongly as from the front. The back is finished plain in leather. This is a sideboard built to stand against a wall — if you need one finished on all four sides, the Rohet is made for that.
Each kilim panel is hand-cut from a vintage rug, so no two sideboards are alike. The exact pattern, colours and weave will differ from the photographs, and the panels will not match one another — that one-of-a-kind character is the essence of the piece, not a variation to be corrected.
The leather is finished with a light wax rather than a heavy pigment. It will mark, warm and deepen where hands fall most often, and the brass will dull to a soft amber. Both are expected, and both improve the piece.

Materials
Built from carefully selected, natural materials — kiln-dried hardwoods, hand-spun textiles, cast metal and quarried stone, chosen to last for decades. Naturally occurring grain and tone variation is intrinsic to each handmade piece.
Fabric care
Vacuum gently and regularly with an upholstery attachment to lift dust before it settles. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — press, don’t rub — and avoid soaking the fabric. Plump and rotate loose cushions so they wear evenly. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to preserve colour, and have delicate weaves cleaned professionally rather than machine-washed.
Craftsmanship
Carved, joined and finished by hand in our workshops, passing through the hands of several craftspeople. Joinery is mortise-and-tenon — never glued shortcuts — so the piece is made to be kept and passed down.
Assembly & Installation
Most pieces arrive securely packed and ready to use. Some larger items may require simple assembly; installation assistance may be available depending on the product and your location — speak with a consultant to confirm before ordering.
Care
Dust timber with a soft dry cloth and treat with wax balm twice yearly. Vacuum upholstery gently and treat marks promptly. Keep out of prolonged direct sun to preserve the finish.
Delivery & Shipping
Made-to-order pieces are crafted in 6–8 weeks and then dispatched by safe, insured delivery, securely packed for transit. Assembly assistance is available on selected pieces. International freight is quoted at checkout.
