Description
Panels of handwoven vintage kilim set into a leather-trimmed carcass — the same chest, with the drawer fronts given over to pattern.
Each panel is hand-cut from an assorted vintage rug, which means the piece is finished rather than manufactured: the weaver's palette, the wear in the pile and the way a motif falls across a drawer are all decided by the rug it came from. Leather frames every panel and carries the studwork, so the colour is contained rather than loose.
Legs and handles are specified separately. Solid wood legs give a grounded stance; slim metal legs lift the carcass clear of the floor. Handles run from stitched leather pulls through turned metal knobs to elongated bar handles — the metal options take your chosen hardware finish automatically.
Because every kilim panel is cut from a different vintage rug, no two chests are alike. The exact pattern, colours and weave on yours will differ from the photographs — that one-of-a-kind character is the essence of the piece, not a variation to be corrected.

Your piece is built after you order it rather than taken off a shelf, so we’d rather you check these measurements against your room first — made-to-order pieces can’t be returned or exchanged. Being handmade, finished dimensions may vary by a centimetre or two.

Materials
Built from carefully selected, natural materials — kiln-dried hardwoods, hand-spun textiles, cast metal and quarried stone, chosen to last for decades. Naturally occurring grain and tone variation is intrinsic to each handmade piece.
Fabric care
Vacuum gently and regularly with an upholstery attachment to lift dust before it settles. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — press, don’t rub — and avoid soaking the fabric. Plump and rotate loose cushions so they wear evenly. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to preserve colour, and have delicate weaves cleaned professionally rather than machine-washed.
Craftsmanship
Carved, joined and finished by hand in our workshops, passing through the hands of several craftspeople. Joinery is mortise-and-tenon — never glued shortcuts — so the piece is made to be kept and passed down.
Assembly & Installation
Most pieces arrive securely packed and ready to use. Some larger items may require simple assembly; installation assistance may be available depending on the product and your location — speak with a consultant to confirm before ordering.
Care
Dust timber with a soft dry cloth and treat with wax balm twice yearly. Vacuum upholstery gently and treat marks promptly. Keep out of prolonged direct sun to preserve the finish.
Delivery & Shipping
Made-to-order pieces are crafted in 4–6 weeks and then dispatched by safe, insured delivery, securely packed for transit. Assembly assistance is available on selected pieces. International freight is quoted at checkout.

Stocked pieces may be returned within 14 days. Made-to-order and customised pieces are final sale — which is why we encourage a material sample first.
