Description
A bed with a club chair’s manners — deep-buttoned leather held in a frame of turned solid wood, and nothing on it that isn’t doing a job.
The headboard is upholstered in leather and deep-buttoned in a diamond grid, each button drawn down into the padding so the leather gathers into soft folds between them. A single line of nailheads traces its edge just inside a moulded wood surround, which rises to a gentle shoulder at each end. Turned posts stand either side, capped with round finials.
The footboard is kept low and plain — one flat panel in a moulded frame between two shorter posts — so the leather stays the bed’s one statement. The side rails carry the same framed panel from head to foot, and all four posts finish in turned, rounded feet.
The headboard is finished on the back in three tall wooden panels under the same curved top rail, so the bed can stand in the middle of a room or beneath a window as easily as against a wall.
Posts, legs and frames are solid wood. The flat panels are engineered board, which stays flat and true across a two-metre span where solid timber would cup and move with the seasons. The mattress rests on a solid wood slatted base that lets it breathe.
It is shown in Natural Teak, a clear satin lacquer that lets the grain and warm honey tone of the wood show through. It is also made in four stains, Woodland, English Chestnut, Walnut and Blackwood, each smooth or in a wire-brushed Country texture. The leather is chosen separately from our upholstery range, and the nailheads come in antique brass, nickel or gold.
Matching side tables can be added to the order: plain wood, with a rounded-edge top over a single drawer with a turned knob, an open lower shelf and turned legs, made in the same wood finish as your bed, 60 × 45 × 60 cm each, at ₹18,000 a table or ₹36,000 for the pair. At 60 cm they sit roughly level with the top of the mattress.
Leather is a natural hide and it behaves like one. Small marks and variations in grain are part of the material, and with use the leather between the buttons softens, the folds settle and the colour deepens. Keep it out of prolonged direct sun and wipe it with a soft dry cloth.

Your piece is built after you order it rather than taken off a shelf, so we’d rather you check these measurements against your room first — made-to-order pieces can’t be returned or exchanged. Being handmade, finished dimensions may vary by a centimetre or two.

Materials
Built from carefully selected, natural materials — kiln-dried hardwoods, hand-spun textiles, cast metal and quarried stone, chosen to last for decades. Naturally occurring grain and tone variation is intrinsic to each handmade piece.
About our leather
Our leathers are genuine and natural. Because every hide is unique, colour, depth of tone, grain and surface character vary from piece to piece — and small marks, scars, wrinkles and uneven tones are part of the material, not defects. Your piece won’t look exactly like the photograph, and that individuality is the mark of real leather. Leather care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills at once with a clean, slightly damp cloth — never soak. Keep leather out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from direct heat to prevent fading and drying. Condition with a quality leather balm once or twice a year to keep the hide supple. Avoid solvents, polishes and abrasive cleaners.
Fabric care
Vacuum gently and regularly with an upholstery attachment to lift dust before it settles. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — press, don’t rub — and avoid soaking the fabric. Plump and rotate loose cushions so they wear evenly. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to preserve colour, and have delicate weaves cleaned professionally rather than machine-washed.
Craftsmanship
Carved, joined and finished by hand in our workshops, passing through the hands of several craftspeople. Joinery is mortise-and-tenon — never glued shortcuts — so the piece is made to be kept and passed down.
Assembly & Installation
Most pieces arrive securely packed and ready to use. Some larger items may require simple assembly; installation assistance may be available depending on the product and your location — speak with a consultant to confirm before ordering.
Care
Dust timber with a soft dry cloth and treat with wax balm twice yearly. Vacuum upholstery gently and treat marks promptly. Keep out of prolonged direct sun to preserve the finish.

Made-to-order pieces are crafted in 6–8 weeks and then dispatched by safe, insured delivery, securely packed for transit. Assembly assistance is available on selected pieces. International freight is quoted at checkout.
