Description
Two drawers a side, so nobody has to reach across the table to find the remote. The body is wrapped in hand-cut leather and stitched along every seam, drawn out at both ends into a half-round, and lifted onto a solid wood plinth.
Those rounded ends are the piece. Each is filled with a woven cane panel, curved to follow the sweep, framed in leather and pinned with domed studs — so the table stays light where a squared-off trunk reads heavy. Set flush into the leather top above each one is a half-moon of vintage kilim, stitched where the two materials meet and edged in a rolled leather bead.
There are four drawers, two in each long face, so the table serves both sides of a room without anyone walking round it. Each is faced in the same hide, pulled by a knurled brass knob, and runs on soft-close runners that draw it shut the last inch. The boxes are lined in velvet-nap suede, which keeps remotes, coasters and cards from sliding about.
It is made 60 cm deep for a two-seater or a tighter room, and 75 cm deep where a deep three-seater or the crook of an L-shaped sofa would otherwise dwarf it.
The carcass is engineered board, and deliberately so: a curved end has to be laminated to hold its shape at all, and across a 120 cm top that will carry trays, books and feet, a laminated panel stays flat where solid timber cups and moves with the seasons. The plinth and its tapered legs are solid wood, stained to your choice of finish.
Both kilim insets are cut by hand from a vintage rug, so the pattern, colours and weave on your table will not match the photographs. The two ends will not match each other either — each is cut from a different part of the rug. No two tables are alike. The leather is finished to show its natural movement, and along the top, where hands and cups land, it will darken and soften into a patina of its own.

Your piece is built after you order it rather than taken off a shelf, so we’d rather you check these measurements against your room first — made-to-order pieces can’t be returned or exchanged. Being handmade, finished dimensions may vary by a centimetre or two.

Materials
Built from carefully selected, natural materials — kiln-dried hardwoods, hand-spun textiles, cast metal and quarried stone, chosen to last for decades. Naturally occurring grain and tone variation is intrinsic to each handmade piece.
Fabric care
Vacuum gently and regularly with an upholstery attachment to lift dust before it settles. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — press, don’t rub — and avoid soaking the fabric. Plump and rotate loose cushions so they wear evenly. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to preserve colour, and have delicate weaves cleaned professionally rather than machine-washed.
Craftsmanship
Carved, joined and finished by hand in our workshops, passing through the hands of several craftspeople. Joinery is mortise-and-tenon — never glued shortcuts — so the piece is made to be kept and passed down.
Assembly & Installation
Most pieces arrive securely packed and ready to use. Some larger items may require simple assembly; installation assistance may be available depending on the product and your location — speak with a consultant to confirm before ordering.
Care
Dust timber with a soft dry cloth and treat with wax balm twice yearly. Vacuum upholstery gently and treat marks promptly. Keep out of prolonged direct sun to preserve the finish.
Delivery & Shipping
Made-to-order pieces are crafted in 4–6 weeks and then dispatched by safe, insured delivery, securely packed for transit. Assembly assistance is available on selected pieces. International freight is quoted at checkout.
