Description
A bedside table gets looked at more often than almost anything else in a bedroom, and usually earns it least. This one is built to be worth the glance. At 55 cm square it sits comfortably either side of a bed, or alone as an end table beside a chair.
The carcass is engineered board clad in hand-cut leather — saddle-stitched at the seams and drawn tight across the top, the front and both flanks, with a finished backing panel to the rear. Across the three drawer fronts, solid brass studs are set one at a time into an interlacing arcade. The pattern is marked out by hand and driven by hand, more than a thousand studs to a chest, which is why the rhythm reads regular without ever looking machined. A second run of studs frames each drawer and traces the edges of the carcass. Cast brass caps armour all eight corners.
Three equal drawers run on soft-close runners and open by a turned brass knob set at the centre of the pattern. The interiors are lined. A brass maker's plate is set low into the flank, where you will find it rather than notice it.
The leather is finished with a light wax rather than a heavy pigment, so the hide keeps its depth and movement — the cloudy variation across the panels is the skin showing through, not a coating sitting on top of it. It will warm and deepen with handling, and the brass will dull towards amber. Both are expected, and both improve the piece.

Your piece is built after you order it rather than taken off a shelf, so we’d rather you check these measurements against your room first — made-to-order pieces can’t be returned or exchanged. Being handmade, finished dimensions may vary by a centimetre or two.

Materials
Built from carefully selected, natural materials — kiln-dried hardwoods, hand-spun textiles, cast metal and quarried stone, chosen to last for decades. Naturally occurring grain and tone variation is intrinsic to each handmade piece.
Fabric care
Vacuum gently and regularly with an upholstery attachment to lift dust before it settles. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — press, don’t rub — and avoid soaking the fabric. Plump and rotate loose cushions so they wear evenly. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to preserve colour, and have delicate weaves cleaned professionally rather than machine-washed.
Craftsmanship
Carved, joined and finished by hand in our workshops, passing through the hands of several craftspeople. Joinery is mortise-and-tenon — never glued shortcuts — so the piece is made to be kept and passed down.
Assembly & Installation
Most pieces arrive securely packed and ready to use. Some larger items may require simple assembly; installation assistance may be available depending on the product and your location — speak with a consultant to confirm before ordering.
Care
Dust timber with a soft dry cloth and treat with wax balm twice yearly. Vacuum upholstery gently and treat marks promptly. Keep out of prolonged direct sun to preserve the finish.
Delivery & Shipping
Made-to-order pieces are crafted in 2–3 weeks and then dispatched by safe, insured delivery, securely packed for transit. Assembly assistance is available on selected pieces. International freight is quoted at checkout.
