Description
A small leather trunk lifted onto turned legs — vintage kilim on four faces, a cupboard's worth of order at the bedside.
The front is all leather, divided in two. Above, an open shelf holds the book you are reading, your glasses and a phone. Below, a single leather-fronted drawer on soft-close runners, pulled by a knurled brass knob, keeps the rest out of sight. Both the shelf and the drawer are lined in suede nap.
The top is laid with a vintage kilim panel inside a stitched leather frame, and kilim continues down both sides and across the back, so the table looks finished from wherever the bed is placed — against a wall, beside a window or floating in the room. Every edge is bound in leather with a double line of stitching, and each of the eight corners is capped in cast brass.
The carcass is engineered board rather than solid timber, which keeps the drawer running true through the seasons. It stands on four hand-turned solid wood legs, stained to your choice of finish, which lift it clear of the floor. At 40 cm high it sits comfortably beside low and platform beds, and works just as well as an end table beside a sofa.
Every kilim panel is cut by hand from a vintage rug, so the pattern, colours and weave on your piece will not match the photographs. The panels will not match each other either — the top, the two sides and the back are each cut from different parts of the rug. No two bedside tables are alike, and a pair will never be identical. The leather is finished to show its natural markings and will soften and deepen in tone with use.

Your piece is built after you order it rather than taken off a shelf, so we’d rather you check these measurements against your room first — made-to-order pieces can’t be returned or exchanged. Being handmade, finished dimensions may vary by a centimetre or two.

Materials
Built from carefully selected, natural materials — kiln-dried hardwoods, hand-spun textiles, cast metal and quarried stone, chosen to last for decades. Naturally occurring grain and tone variation is intrinsic to each handmade piece.
Fabric care
Vacuum gently and regularly with an upholstery attachment to lift dust before it settles. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — press, don’t rub — and avoid soaking the fabric. Plump and rotate loose cushions so they wear evenly. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to preserve colour, and have delicate weaves cleaned professionally rather than machine-washed.
Craftsmanship
Carved, joined and finished by hand in our workshops, passing through the hands of several craftspeople. Joinery is mortise-and-tenon — never glued shortcuts — so the piece is made to be kept and passed down.
Assembly & Installation
Most pieces arrive securely packed and ready to use. Some larger items may require simple assembly; installation assistance may be available depending on the product and your location — speak with a consultant to confirm before ordering.
Care
Dust timber with a soft dry cloth and treat with wax balm twice yearly. Vacuum upholstery gently and treat marks promptly. Keep out of prolonged direct sun to preserve the finish.
Delivery & Shipping
Made-to-order pieces are crafted in 2–3 weeks and then dispatched by safe, insured delivery, securely packed for transit. Assembly assistance is available on selected pieces. International freight is quoted at checkout.
