Description
Bottle-green leather, tan banding and a line of brass studs under every drawer — a campaign chest on a narrow footprint, for the corner of a bedroom, the end of a hallway or the wall beside a desk.
Three full-width drawers are faced in green leather and pulled by round brass knobs with a knurled edge. Between them, bands of tan leather run straight across the front and carry on around both sides, each one set with a row of domed brass studs, so the lines of the drawers read continuously around the piece rather than stopping at the corner. The top is a single panel of green leather framed in tan.
Inside, every drawer is lined in brown velvet-nap suede and runs on soft-close runners. The back is faced in the same soft brown suede finish and bound in tan leather, so the chest can stand clear of the wall or at the foot of a bed without an unfinished side on show.
Every edge is bound in stitched tan leather and every corner capped in cast metal. One side carries a stitched leather Art Avenue maker's tag. The carcass is engineered board, which keeps the drawers true and the panels flat; beneath it, four tapered solid wood legs splay out from a solid wood base and lift the body well clear of the floor.
The green leather is finished to show its character: lighter veins and a soft mottling run through each hide, so the pattern on your chest will differ from the photographs, and the colour will deepen and soften with handling. Both leathers can be changed — the body and the banding are chosen separately, from the full leather range.

Your piece is built after you order it rather than taken off a shelf, so we’d rather you check these measurements against your room first — made-to-order pieces can’t be returned or exchanged. Being handmade, finished dimensions may vary by a centimetre or two.

Materials
Built from carefully selected, natural materials — kiln-dried hardwoods, hand-spun textiles, cast metal and quarried stone, chosen to last for decades. Naturally occurring grain and tone variation is intrinsic to each handmade piece.
Fabric care
Vacuum gently and regularly with an upholstery attachment to lift dust before it settles. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — press, don’t rub — and avoid soaking the fabric. Plump and rotate loose cushions so they wear evenly. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to preserve colour, and have delicate weaves cleaned professionally rather than machine-washed.
Craftsmanship
Carved, joined and finished by hand in our workshops, passing through the hands of several craftspeople. Joinery is mortise-and-tenon — never glued shortcuts — so the piece is made to be kept and passed down.
Assembly & Installation
Most pieces arrive securely packed and ready to use. Some larger items may require simple assembly; installation assistance may be available depending on the product and your location — speak with a consultant to confirm before ordering.
Care
Dust timber with a soft dry cloth and treat with wax balm twice yearly. Vacuum upholstery gently and treat marks promptly. Keep out of prolonged direct sun to preserve the finish.
Delivery & Shipping
Made-to-order pieces are crafted in 4–6 weeks and then dispatched by safe, insured delivery, securely packed for transit. Assembly assistance is available on selected pieces. International freight is quoted at checkout.
